Overview
Dottie Courington received her B.A. degree from Sweet Briar College in 1972 and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of London School of Law in 1977, where she was research editor of the London Law Review. She is a member of the Bar Council of England and Wales and affiliated with the Honourable Society of Middle Temple.
Courington concentrated her practice in the areas of creditors’ rights, corporate law, property, probate, and estate planning. For many years, she served as a special legal advisor to the UK Ministry of Justice, handling property acquisitions for various government departments. Courington was named one of the Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom in 2021 and 2022.
Courington is a graduate of the Leadership Middle Temple programme and remains active in the legal community in and around Middle Temple.
