    Andrew Walcoff is a partner in Luthor Legal Chambers’s litigation department. He has extensive experience representing corporate and individual clients in complex civil and commercial litigation before the High Court and across various courts in England and Wales.

    Mr. Walcoff frequently advises on complex disclosure applications and has successfully argued procedural sanctions matters. In one notable case, he obtained an order striking out the opposing party’s Defence and Counterclaim, resulting in a default judgment in favour of the client along with a costs award. He has particular expertise in disputes involving legal professional privilege and litigation privilege, and regularly advises clients on their obligations under the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), especially regarding document preservation, disclosure, and privilege review. He has also represented international manufacturers in product liability and commercial litigation across multiple UK jurisdictions.

    Alongside his litigation practice, Mr. Walcoff advises clients on litigation preparedness, with a focus on privilege protection, records management policy, and GDPR-compliant data handling. He is a contributing member of the Society for Computers and Law and participates in the eDisclosure Information Project, focusing on best practices in electronic disclosure, cross-border data transfer compliance, and case law developments in data privacy and disclosure obligations.

    Mr. Walcoff regularly publishes articles and delivers CPD-accredited presentations on topics such as privilege non-waiver, keyword search techniques, eDisclosure protocols, and cost-shifting in complex litigation. His recent presentations have covered UK equivalents to Federal Rule of Evidence 502, predictive coding, and the evolving role of active case management under the CPR.

Andrew Walcoff is a partner in Luthor Legal Chambers’s litigation department. He has extensive experience representing companies and private clients in complex disputes before the High Court and other courts throughout England and Wales.

Mr. Walcoff frequently advises on and argues technical applications related to disclosure and procedural sanctions. He successfully argued a cost and sanctions application that resulted in the striking out of the opposing party’s Defence and Counterclaim, entry of default judgment in favour of the client, and an award of indemnity costs. Andrew has particular expertise in disputes involving legal professional privilege and litigation privilege, and regularly advises on disclosure duties under the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and the Practice Directions, including eDisclosure protocols.

He has acted for manufacturers and distributors in claims spanning product liability, commercial disputes, and negligence—serving as lead solicitor in numerous matters across various jurisdictions within the UK.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Walcoff advises on litigation readiness and compliance, with an emphasis on privilege review frameworks, records management, and best practices for data protection and disclosure. He is a member of the Society for Computers and Law and the eDisclosure Information Project, contributing to industry discussions on electronic document retention, disclosure obligations, and international data transfer compliance.

Andrew frequently publishes articles and delivers CPD-accredited presentations on key litigation topics, including legal privilege, keyword search methodology, updates in case law, and cost-shifting mechanisms in disclosure-heavy proceedings.
